How old are they? (1)

Two friends are sitting in a street cafe and talking about their children. One says that he has three sons and all of them share their birthdays on that very day. When the other friend asks about their ages he says that the product of their ages equals 36 and the sum of the ages coincides with the number of the house across the street. The second friend looks at the number and replies that this information is not enough to figure out the age of each child. The first agrees and adds that his oldest son is a good sitar player. Then the second solves the puzzle. You might solve it too!
